Spring has definitely sprung
I know the official start to spring is tomorrow, but by the looks of the shelter, and the increasing population, I'd swear it's been here for weeks.As of today, we have 20, yes 20, puppies under 3 weeks of age. They're SO CUTE!!! All but 8 are orphans, so I get to spend quite a bit of my day bottle feeding the little ones.
Also, as of 930 this morning, we have 5 new baby kittens. We've had their mommy for about a week, and she had her little ones over the span of a few hours. All of the babies are solid black, and oh so cute.
We have one other pregnant kitty right now, and she should be due any day.
So... people have your pets spayed or neutered. There's no way there is enough homes for all of these babies. Yes, they're cute. But everyone that adopts a baby ISN'T adopting a just-as-worthy adult.
Oh, and Ace's brother and sister-in-law had their baby this morning. Baby Brock was born just after 730 today.
Yup, definitely spring. Lots of babies. Cute, cute, cute babies.
