Time to redecorate
Saturday I spent most of the day doing a bit of spring cleaning. I moved all the furniture and vacuumed, dusted, cleaned all the glass, did the dishes, etc etc etc.
Well, now that it's clean, all I can think to do is redecorate. I want a new bed set for the bedroom, a new recliner for the living room, a set of end tables and a coffee table, and of course a new tv.
I guess it's time for a new job too, because all of that stuff is WAY out of my budget.
*sigh*
Well I admit.... *barf* He's got a drinkin problem...
Last night Ace and I headed out to the ol ballpark for the season opening game series. The tickets were free, but we chose to upgrade to box seating at $2 a seat. Awesome deal.
It just so happens Ace and I were seated by the "way too loud sports heckler guy". Somehow, this guy knew the name of every player on the field. If he happened to forget, he made something up. Shouting things like "yeah, 22 kicks ass!" "you're my boy blue!!" "Go Tony go!!"
Then, the alcohol kicks in.
"What are you guys doin? Playing baseball or touching yourselves? There are kids out here for chrissakes!!!" Apparently this one made him crack himself up, so he spewed beer on the group of 15 year olds in front of Ace and I. Heckler Guy says "Do your parents know you drink? Well they will when they get a whiff of you"
By this time Ace and I are in tears it's so damn funny. We've managed to miss 4 runs by the home team because Heckler Guy is much more entertaining.
Not too long after that, something else just as funny is yelled from the back, and the "drinkin problem" song starts up. Heckler guy starts laughing, "Well I admit" *barf* " I've got a drinkin problem.... "
Yes, Mr. Baseball Heckler Guy, you sure do.
... and I myself can't wait until the next game.

Sweet karma...
Yesterday Ace and I headed over to Daven's for some awesome food and a few games of volleyball.
There was a good variety of people, young and old. One of the young ones was Daven's neighbor, Tre. He was... oh... 13 or so.
Well, Tre doesn't like cats. Daven's daughter has a sweet little cat named Sam. Tre decides to torture poor Sam. He chases her around the house, throws pillows at her, (just because they're called throw pillows doesn't mean you're supposed to literally throw them) and some how manages to soak Sam from head to toe. The poor cat is scared to death.
Now comes the good part.
Sam's haulin ass through the living room and into the kitchen. (picture all hardwood floors, and a big step up into the kitchen) Dumbass Tre goes sliding, hits the step, trips, and slams his eye into the dining room chair.
OH YES!! Two points for Sam the Cat!
Now this kid has to go to school and tell all his buddies the cat beat him up and gave him a black eye. Beautiful.
I'm da boss...
My boss is gone on a business trip today and tomorrow, so when that happens, I'm acting boss around here.
Let me tell you what, it bites smelly monkey balls.
"How do I do this?"
The same way you've done it the last 26 times..."Can I go to lunch early?"
Hell no"What's that mean?"
It means you're a dumbass!"Will you help me?"
Fuck off"But I don't wanna do that..."
Then quit"Do you care if I leave 3 hours early?"
Fuck yes I care!!Great.... it's gonna be a wonderful day.
E-Day
I've made a new day. I'm not calling it a holiday, because frankly, it sucks.
It's E-Day. (the name derives from the infamous D-Day in case you're curious). The day the new one meets the old one. Current love meets ex love. New flame vs. old flame. You get the picture.
Tonight about 7:30 is Taco's first T-ball game, and I'm invited. I know the meeting is inevitable. Surely it's a good idea to have it take place in a neutral (i.e. public spot) like a t-ball field in front of a lot of witnesses, right?
Wish me luck. *GULP*
American Idol
Just so you all know, Ace made me miss American Idol last night so he could play his stupid playstation. I hope it wasn't a good one.
I did get to see the Simple Life last night. Those girls are nuts. I must say that's an all time favorite show of mine.
Kitten update
This morning my three little cabinet critters decided they were grown up enough for kitten food. It's a sad day... I'm going to miss those little things when they're gone.
Just a line...
...to say I hope all is well in blog-land.
Here's a big "Hi, how the hell are ya?" from me to you.
Have a good week folks.
