I's a sick girl...
I seem to have caught some stomach virus. Let me tell you what, this bites the big one. I go from shivering to sweating in no time flat. Vomiting, stomach cramps, the works. I was out all day yesterday, and I'll probably only be in for another hour or so. Blech...
My first time as the Easter bunny
Well tonight I'm heading out to do some Easter Bunny shopping. I've never been the Easter Bunny before, and some of you might think I'm silly, but I'm looking forward to it. The holiday was always fun for me as a kid and I want to make sure theirs is even better than mine were.
Target has the cutest little Spiderman baskets, so I'm sure Taco and Tojo will love them. Then it's off to the "Everything's a dollar" store for the rest. Hey, when you're a little kid candy is candy. Even the cheap stuff is appealing to them.
Well, I have about 5 minutes left here at the office, then off to shop I go.

Where has the time gone?
Oh my, I didn't even realize it's been almost a week since I've blogged.
Not too many things have changed. I'm feeling a lot healthier now. The head cold/allergies mess I had last week has pretty much cleared up.
The 3 little critters that live under my bathroom sink are growing like weeds. They can almost completely stand up now without wobbling, and their eyes are finally completely open. The little tiger baby has to be the cutest kitten ever.
I recieved my bonus from work, so that was awesome. I'm saving the entire thing though. I think it's time I set up a savings account for myself. So by golly, that's what I'm going to do.
I'm also trying to get G to tell me what he wants to do for his birthday. It's right after he gets back from NY so he needs to get to thinking.

Allergy season...
Has struck. And good lawd I feel like caca.
The horrible headaches, runny nose, and sore throat signal the start of spring here in Oklahoma.
I think I slept for about 3 and a half hours last night. Every time I'd move my head would throb and the junk in my sinuses would drain from one side to the other. Gross (sorry everyone)
Well, we're expecting rain off and on today, so that will hopefully wash the pollen from the air down into the storm drain. Which will fix things for... oh, about a day.

my weekend...
...was pretty uneventful.
Friday I worked about an hour late, then joined G, Taco, and Tojo for dinner at the buffet place. We were planning on going out for pizza, but I had a mashed potatoes and gravy craving so we had to go buffet.
Saturday was beautiful, so I went for a jog at Lafortune park, then cruised the shops at a local strip center. I didn't buy anything, but it was nice to be outside in the sunshine as I walked from shop to shop. Saturday night we ordered pizza's and pigged out.
Sunday I went with my dad and brother to the home and garden show. That was fun. Made fun of all the dorks.
The kittens are getting bigger. They still don't have their eyes open, and don't move much, but they are putting on weight and are too cute for words.
Magda's Cancun bound
There's a woman at my office who looks like Magda from the movie "Something About Mary" Swear to god, they could be twins.
Anyhow, Magda said today that she is taking off for vacation in a couple of weeks so she can go to Cancun for Spring Break. The lady's 45. She has a daughter who's 17. It would be one thing if she was going to chaperone a senior trip or something, but oh no... she's going to 'scope for hotties' (her own words)
I seriously want to puke.
Dad's Birthday
Well today is my dear old Dad's birthday. Tonight we're all meeting up for burgers, cake, and ice cream.
Now, this probably sounds strange, but just bear with me.
I honestly feel older after my parents have birthdays than after I have a birthday. I mean, in just a few short years my Dad will be eligible for retirement. Pretty strange.
Other things that make me feel old are :
1. People dying. Like when President Reagan died, because he was the pres when I was born.
2. People having children. A girl I went to high school with now has 3.
3. Music. Not knowing who certain artists are. I'm becoming uncool.
I'm a grandma!
My cat had her kittens at 11 last night. Poor little girl, I know she was hurting. I just kept petting her head while she was having contractions. She purred almost the whole time, and when she wasn't purring she was howling. It all went off without a hitch. No stillborn's, not even a very big mess. She decided she wanted to have them under my bathroom sink, which was cool with me because it kept her off the carpet.
Anyway, she had 3 little babies. Two are solid black, like her. The third is a grey tabby. Sweetest looking little things. Their little mew's are just adorable.
I have a home lined up for one of the black ones. Just two more to go...
Pet day
Seems to be 'Pet Day' here at work.
One lady brought her cat, straight from the groomer's. She had a lot of work to do and needed to get back soon, so driving the boy back home was out of the question. He's currently high on catnip. Cool dude I might add.
A guy here brought his small dog, named PJ. He's a really sweet dog. Runs around chasing a golf ball, and will roll over on command. Ever see a dog roll over 9 times in a row?

I'm not feeling so hot lately. Saturday night after dinner I layed down on the floor to watch tv, and as soon as I rolled on my belly I felt like absolute garbage.
Then again the same thing last night. G was out with buddies, so it was just me, the pregnant stray, and my boy kitty at the apartment. I'm in bed about 11 and get horrible sharp pains in my stomach. I don't really know why either. I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary. For some reason though, I'm just in pain. Kinda nauseous too.
I hope you all feel terribly sorry for me.
