Here it is

My hair is done.

My nails are shiny.

My dress is on.

My makeup is almost finished.

I've had a few energy drinks.

The heels are ready.

I stopped by the cemetary to show off to my Grandpa.



All that is left is promising to love my best friend for the rest of my life. Piece of cake.

Wedding Advice--

This was emailed to Ace, and he was brave enough to send it to me



Mike was going to be married to Karen so his father sat him down for a little chat.He said, "Mike, let me tell you something. On my wedding night in our honeymoon suite, I took off my pants, handed them toyour mother, and said, "Here - try these on."She did and said, "These are too big. I can't wear them." I replied, "Exactly. I wear the pants in this family and I always will." Ever since that night, we have never had any problems."Hmmm," said Mike. He thought that might be a good thing to try.On his honeymoon, Mike took off his pants and said to Karen, "Here - try these on." She tried them on and said, "These are too large. They don't fit me."Mike said, "Exactly. I wear the pants in this family and I always will. I don't want you to ever forget that." Then Karen took off her pants and handed them to Mike. She said, "Here-you try on mine."He did and said, "I can't get into your pants."Karen said, "Exactly. And if you don't change your smart-ass attitude, you never will."

What do you think?







These are some of the wedding bands that I like. I know, they seem kind of dark. I've never been very traditional, so a gold band just doesn't seem... me. Anyone here have a preference over these four? Or willing to go find some pics of others? It's coming down to the wire... less than two weeks to go.

Viva Las Vegas!



This is a pic of Ace and I a few years ago, about a year after we started dating. It's one of my favorites.


So I let Ace run with the trip planning since his parents were footing the bill. I'm taking over the party, because it's at my dad's place. Good? Sounded like the best way for it to go.

So... we're going here http://www.nynyhotelcasino.com/ He gets the casino/ vegas fun, plus he's from New York, so I think he'll have an even better time. The 33,000 sq ft ESPN bar doesn't hurt either... lol.


So the day is fast approaching.... holy shit.

Where do we go?

Ace's parents have so graciously offered to send us on a honeymoon.


Yeah, for real!!!



He and I were planning on going to OKC or the lake, something simple like that to help actually not break the bank. But now, we have about 3 weeks to not only plan the rest of the reception, but now a kick ass honeymoon too.


I know first thing is to decide where to go, then hopefully everything else will fall into place.


Mr. Ace has his heart set on Vegas, and I'd rather hit the beach. I'm not a gambler, and he's not a sun worshipper.

Any ideas anyone?
